Building Families at Ferring

We know that it is not enough to simply say that we are committed to supporting family building journeys without first demonstrating this commitment to our own employees. The Building Families at Ferring program provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package that helps enable different family building options by removing the financial barriers and providing access to quality care.

Parental Leave

As a leader in reproductive medicine and maternal health, we know how important it is for families to bond with a new child, whether it’s your first or your fourth. Today, we offer all Ferring parents—moms, dads, and adoptive parents – up to 26 weeks of paid parental leave to spend quality time with your growing family and to adjust to life with a new child. Employees are eligible for this benefit after one year of service.

Adoption Policy

At Ferring, we know that adoption is a gift for so many families and we are proud to support our people on their journey to parenthood—no matter their path. Recognized by the Dave Thomas Foundation as one of the most adoption friendly workplaces in the U.S., year after year, Ferring’s Adoption Assistance Program provides reimbursement for qualified adoption related expenses. Employees are eligible for this benefit after one year of service.

Fertility Support

Our commitment to building families extends not only to the millions of patients that we serve, but also to the hundreds of people we employ in the U.S. We offer employees fertility support through our medical plan, including egg and sperm freezing, and free access to a selection of our fertility products, as well as concierge services to support the emotional journey of fertility treatment.

Surrogacy Benefits

Recognizing that the journey to parenthood can take many paths, our inclusive family building benefits also include reimbursement for qualified expenses relating to surrogacy. Employees are eligible for this benefit after one year of service.
